No account, no server, no telemetry. Your models, profiles and projects are files on your own disk, and the author never sees any of them.

What the app connects to

This is the full list of network connections the app can make, and when.

WhatWhere it goesWhen
Sending a sliced fileYour printer, on your own network (SDCP or PrusaLink)Only when you press Send
Finding printersA UDP broadcast on your local networkOnly when you ask it to look
Checking for updatesgithub.com, over HTTPSOff by default. Once on: daily, or when you press Check now
Downloading an updategithub.com, the archive for your systemOnly when you press Install and restart

An update check sends nothing but the request itself, and an update is only installed if it carries the project’s own signature.

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other servers. Two small scripts read your browser’s preferred languages and your operating system, only to show you the right language and the right download; neither leaves your device. If you pick a language from the menu, your browser’s local storage keeps that choice (the language code and the date, nothing that could identify you) so the site doesn’t override it next time. The details, in German as the law requires, are in the Datenschutzerklärung.
